Last summer I was the keynote speaker at a national conference for marketing professionals, speaking about #StadiumStatus. After I stepped off stage the event organizers arranged to have me do a book signing.
One audience member patiently waited in line and when he got up to the front of the line in his very thick New “Joisey” accent, asked for my business card. I told to him that I didn’t have any and asked why he wanted it. He explained that he wasn’t ready to buy a copy of the book and wanted to “think about it”.
“Think about it?” I said. “Besides the fact the book is 50% off for this event only, I just gave you and the 6500 other people in attendance, 45 minutes of my absolute BEST stuff from Stadium Status.”
“If you don’t see the value now, you’re not gonna see it later after you ‘think about it’.” He left his business card on the table and went on his way.
I’m sharing this with you because I’m amused by the response or should I say lack of response to yesterday’s post. If you didn’t read it, you’re forgiven J but you’re definitely gonna want to read it, right here.
In that message I, or really I should say reader Jon Rennie, gave you 15,000 reasons to invest in a copy of Stadium Status…
Jon wisely used ONE strategy from chapter 7 and made a quick $15k. (His words not mine)
A 1153% return on his investment.
After learning that, do you really need to “think about it”?
I used to be baffled by small thinking like the gentleman who wanted my business card to “think about it”.
But now, I merely find them amusing. Heck at this point I ought to rename the book $tadium $tatu$, it’s been so profitable for my readers.
I’ll just say this:
There are big thinkers and there are broke thinkers.
If you’re the latter, there’s not much I can add to your life.
But if you’re the former, with the ability to see professional development as an investment not an expense, and you want to know how to implement strategies that can not only make you more sales but also build long-term client relationships for years in the future, then Stadium Status can show you how.
Heads up, on Friday at 11:59 PM EST, the discount goes away and I’m raising the price back up to $25.00.
